Navigating the EnduraDocs Manager

Roles: Editor, Reviewer, Admin Plans: Starter, Pro, Advanced, Enterprise

After creating or opening a workspace, you find yourself in the product explorer. This is the main working area where you manage your products. From here, you can freely navigate to the workspace settings or Portal Explorer. If you feel lost, let our tour show you around.

Navigation Menu

The navigation menu is your main way of navigating the EnduraDocs Manager and moving between its functional areas like the Product Explorer or Admin Panel. You can also use it to navigate to other workspaces if you have access to them. To open the navigation menu click on the Three horizontal lines. at the upper left corner of the screen. This opens the navigation sidebar, which gives you multiple navigation options:

  • Info icon. Opens a drop down menu with all workspaces you have access to. You can use it to navigate to another workspace or to the Workspace Explorer by clicking on " Workspace".
  • Product explorer icon. Brings you to the product explorer of this workspace, which serves as a pool for all your products.
  • Info icon. Brings you to the portal explorer of this workspace, which serves as a pool for all your portals.
  • Workspace settings icon. Brings you to the admin panel of this workspace where you can update the workspace info, invite more users, and more.

Functional Areas

Workspace Explorer

When you log into the EnduraDocs Manager, you are moved to the Workspace Explorer. This is the upmost functional area of the EnduraDocs Manager. Here, you find all workspaces you have access to.

Product Explorer

The Product Explorer serves as a central pool for all products of your workspace. In the Product Explorer, you can create new products, check the product state, and manage product information.

Product Page

The Product Page provides a detailed view of your product and serves as a control unit for the product's revisions, settings, and theme in the EnduraDocs Viewer and Documentation Portal. Here, you can manage revisions and product settings, and share access to its published revision in the EnduraDocs Viewer.

Portal Explorer

The Portal Explorer serves as a central pool for all Documentation Portals in your workspace. Here, you can create and manage Documentation Portals.

Admin Panel

The Admin Panel serves as the control unit of your workspace, where you can manage users, workspace settings, and themes. Access to the Admin Panel is denied to users with the Editor and Reviewer roles. Thus, a workspace must have at least one user with the Admin role. Usually, this is the user who created the workspace.
